Meet Me

My name is ROSE. I am a Chicago-based cinematic editorial photographer specializing in concerts, live performances, and portraits.

I do not manufacture moments; I wait for them. My best work happens when my subjects forget I’m in the room. When a performer goes somewhere else mid-performance, or when a couple stops performing for the camera and just exists together. This is what I am chasing.

My style is dark, warm, and intentional. Influenced by film, built in low light, and edited to feel like a scene from a movie you can’t quite name, but also can’t forget.

I shoot manual. I don’t use flash, partly because I live comfortably in the dark and partly out of respect for others who experience photosensitivity. That constraint isn’t a limitation; it’s what taught me to read light instead of creating it.

I develop my own film. I have a vision, and I want to protect it.
